Jeremy Jacobs

Born and raised in Kansas City with a mom who was a piano teacher, music was inevitable. Jeremy found his niche in musical theatre where his passions for storytelling and music collided. As a music director, he collaborates within the music department with a dramaturgical eye, always seeking to make each moment as clear and concise as possible.

With a strong foundation in pedagogy, Jeremy is an avid educator through both theatre education and his vocal studio. Jeremy has experience teaching theatre and music to all ages (from preschool to undergraduate). He's passionate about meeting students where they are and helping them thrive by discovering the beauty of their instrument.

Outside of all of this, Jeremy is an avid reader and obsessive tea drinker. He is constantly on the pursuit of finding the best pot of tea to pair with the perfect afternoon read. Literary fiction with a strong pot of black tea is his currently favorite; but please send your recommendations!
